Digital permit/checklist

If you have a valid Heta Arbeten® certificate, you can download the Heta Arbeten® app and get access to the digital permit/checklist and all its functions. The digital list has been developed to increase safety, streamline work and facilitate your job as permit issuer in the field. The list works best via the app on your smartphone or tablet, but it can of course be used on a computer as well.

The digital permit list has several functions to streamline the issue of permits and increase safety.

Efficiency:

  • The digital permit list facilitates the issue of permits by supporting the risk assessment and guiding you through the issue of permits.
  • With the GPS function you can get help in finding the correct call-out address.
  • Using the camera on your mobile or tablet, you can take pictures and document the site and the work as well as store this with the permit.
  • Reminders. With the digital permit list, you have the option to receive reminders about your permits by text message or e-mail. You can, for example, be reminded when a permit starts, when the permit expires and when a permit has ended. You can also receive a reminder when you end the permit to reset any fire protection systems that have been switched off.
  • New! Everyone in the team can use the digital permit list. Certificates for hot work posing a fire hazard* other than the Heta Arbeten® certificate can be added manually to the role of hot work operative or fire-watcher by the permit issuer.
  • By using the digital permit/checklist, you can always be sure that you have the most recent version of the list.

Safety:

  • Finding and checking valid certificates. With the digital permit list, you can be sure that everyone in the team has the correct authorisation. The list searches the database of all authorised hot work operatives and only those that have a valid certificate can be added to a permit.
  • Permit issue on site. Because permit issue and signature take place on the same device, we are increasing the safety of permit issuance at the relevant site.
  • Safety: Only those who have a valid Heta Arbeten® certificate can start, perform, store and retrieve expired permits.
  • Language: The digital permit list facilitates work where there are several different nationalities in the team by being able to switch between languages. The information in the list and about all safety rules is also available in English, Lithuanian, Polish and Russian. You can switch languages as often as you want so that everyone in the team can understand the information in their language.
  • Export: When a permit has ended, the permit issuer can export the permit along with all attachments (pictures, etc.) to a PDF file which can then be forwarded by e-mail.
  • Digital storage via the Heta Arbeten® app. The permit is started, written, signed and stored digitally, and everyone involved in the permit in question can access it via the Heta Arbeten® app.

Digital Heta Arbeten® permit list – how do I do it?
If you have a valid Heta Arbeten® certificate, you can access the digital permit/checklist via the Heta Arbeten® app. You must be logged in to be able to create and view your permits. Other certificates can be added to the permit by the permit issuer in the role of hot worker or fire-watcher. 

After logging in to the app, navigate to “Digital permit list”. There you can then create new permits and view ongoing, planned and finished permits. When a permit has finished, you as the permit issuer have the option to export it and/or e-mail it as an attachment.
